The Extremely Bizarre MC Hammer Cartoon From 1991...

It might seem hard to believe now, given the fact that only one song of his has stood the test of time, but MC Hammer was MASSIVE in the early 90's. Even though U Can't Touch This is the only song that people still remember from him, he had other hit songs from around the same time that were actually MORE successful than U Can't Touch This.

Despite this though, MC Hammer's popularity wouldn't last long, as the rise of gangsta rap would have people look at him as this lame sellout joke rapper. Although the critical and commercial success of albums like The Chronic destroyed his career, it was arguably already going downhill prior to that, beginning with Hammerman, a short lived Saturday morning cartoon from 1991, that was based on MC Hammer.
