With 4 ski fields close by & crisp bluebird days, Queenstown is the home of winter! From June onwards the season kicks off and there’s no better place to ski or board in New Zealand.. but in the off season Cardrona Alpine Resort has it going on - this is mountain carting!

The mountain carts are purpose-built in Germany for alpine trails — 3 wheels, a low centre of gravity, and two hydraulic disc brakes so you can get some sick drifts going on down the mountain! Of course the GoPro doesn't make it seem very quick, but these things fly! The setting of the onsen style tubs over looking the shotover river never gets old!
