Graham Linehan on Twitter, trans activism, and why he won't just shut up

Graham Linehan is a well respected television writer — best known for co-creating and writing Father Ted and The IT Crowd. But he's become known for something far more controversial, of late: questioning gender identity ideology and it's impact on women. Earlier this week, a petition was circulated, demanding he be removed from a segment scheduled to air on RTÉ, Ireland's public broadcaster, discussing "transgender issues," particularly the issue of transitioning kids. (He was not removed from the segment.)

I chatted with him about his concerns about trans activism, Twitter's crack down on free speech (particularly with regard to those who criticize gender identity ideology and legislation), why he decided to speak out (and continues to do so so relentlessly!), and why he hated the movie, Catfish.
