Re-Volt Roulette A2R1: Road 13 with Lego Maxi Bike

Here is the start of my second Re-Volt Roulette attempt. A weird 'car' on a weird track: can I learn to handle the combination soon enough to be able to win the race?
Two earlier car/track rolls got lost because I hadn't set my controls properly, and instead of just setting them there and then and continuing on the recording, I restarted. It would later turn out that I had in fact still not set all of my controls correctly, to a terrible result...
