At the startAD AI for Good Changemakers Day, hosted with support from Google.org, we brought together researchers, practitioners, and builders working at the intersection of AI and social impact: Mike Grandinetti (Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School), Elias Mouawad (formerly UNDP Accelerator Lab), Yosr ElSherbiny (National Multiple Sclerosis Society UAE), Aditya Chatterjee (Socia), Ashwin Joshi and Rami Aljundi (startAD).

Across keynotes, use cases, and a live fireside chat, they explored the data on AI adoption across health and social impact sectors in the UAE, what mission-driven AI success looks like globally, and the organizational realities that determine whether AI initiatives survive contact with reality.
