Lucy- our leucistic Noisy Miner. (Manorina melanocephala)
Leucistic birds lack pigmentation but retain eye colour & some plumage colour. (Albino lack both of these.)
So that’s how Lucy got her name. She is a nectar feeder but enjoys the odd insect.
You’ll see a normal coloured Miner fly in too.
(These Miners are native & differ from introduced Mynah’s)
