How to Draw a Human Eye (step by step)

In this art tutorial, created using a Nikon D7100 I explain, step by step, how to draw an eye, which is probably the most important of the facial features, starting with simple shapes and progressing to the addition of light and shade to complete the drawing.
I show you how to get the proportions of the eye right and how to create the impression the eyes are alive with the addition of highlights on the iris and pupil. The drawing is completed with the addition of light and shade to create the sense that the eye is a three dimensional object and an important element of the face.
