Footage of the maiden flight of the Tu-160M strategic missile carrier

The first strategic missile-carrying airplane Tu-160M has made its maiden flight. The aircraft took off from the airfield of the Kazan aircraft plant "Rostec". The flight was performed at an altitude of 600 meters and lasted about 30 minutes. The crew of test pilots of PJSC "Tupolev" performed maneuvers, allowing to check the stability and controllability of the aircraft in the air. It is expected that the two missile-carrying Tu-160M will enter the long-range aviation in 2022.
