Brazil 1975 super 8mm film: Butterflies at Foz do Iguaçu

In 1975 I had the opportunity to stay for a couple of days at the Brazilian side of the Foz di Iguaçu waterfalls. Unfortunately it was in the rainy season and I was almost the only visitor. But even during this season it is a stunning place. Being my first visit to South America, I was impressed by the colors and the beauty of the local butterflies that came out between the showers.
The original footage was digitized by projection and recorded in HDV format , using a 3CCD Sony camera. Postprocessing done with Vegas pro editing software. Background sound added, using samples from later sound recordings. An illustration how technology has evolved!
