How To Set Up 8bitdo Bluetooth Controllers On Raspberry Pi RetroPie Systems - RetroPie Guy

This is a detailed tutorial on how to set up your 8bitdo Bluetooth Controllers with your Raspberry Pi/RetroPie computer gaming system.

For this tutorial we are using the 8bitdo SF30 Pro Gamepad Controller but the set up process is pretty much the same across the board with all of 8bitdo's Bluetooth controllers. The only difference would be in the input configuration/mapping part of this process as the controls/button configuration for each model of controller does vary.

8bitdo Bluetooth controllers are in my opinion the most reliable and easiest controllers to set up with your RetroPie system. They are extremely well made, have very long battery life, & work pretty flawlessly with all the games on our RetroPie Guy Game Collection Cards.
