Murder of the Romanovs.- The Last Argument, Part 1
"Murder of the Romanovs. The Last Argument." broadcasted for the first time on the 90th anniversary of the tragic death of the family of Emperor Nicholas II.
In this documentary filmed by Andrei Kirisenko shows first restored parts of complex research of the remains of the royal family and gave details of investigations and examinations of the remains found near Yekaterinburg in 1991 and 2007. The viewer can make up their minds about who is buried in the Peter and Paul Fortress after looking through the testimony of all experts, and the worked with the"Yekaterinburg remains".
Also commentaries from supporters and opponents of the authenticity of the remains: the senior experienced criminalist Prosecutor General Vladimir Soloviev, a member of the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History Ludmila Lykov, writer, screenwriter, initiated the first search of the remains Gely Ryabov, academician, director of the Institute of History and Archaeology, Ural Branch RAS Benjamin Alekseev, Doctor of Geological Sciences, Chairman of the Charitable Foundation "Discovering" Alexander Avdonin, a forensic expert Pavel Ivanov, Head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics, Brain Science Centre for Mental Health, RAMS Evgeny Rogaev, forensic Sergei Nikitin, Deputy Director General of Research Production Centre for the Protection and Use of historical and cultural monuments, Sverdlovsk region Andrei Grigoriev, who found the second burial of members of the club "Mountain Shield" Alexander Kruchinin, historian and ethnographer Nikolai Neuimin, search Sergei Plotnikov, Leonid Vohmyakov.
The film crew worked extensively near Yekaterinburg, at the area where the remains where discovered, presumably belonging to the royal family: the Old Koptyakovskoy road in Porosenkovom log and near Ganina Yama. The film uses unique footage from the online backup MIA on the extraction of the ground first remains July 12, 1991.
Controversy surrounding the authenticity of the remains buried in 1998 in the fortress of St. Petersburg, has continued for many years. With renewed strength, the discussions broke out after the discovery last summer, far from the first burial of the remains of a boy and a girl, allegedly belonging to the Grand Duchess Maria and Tsarevich Alexei.
