The Rocky Mountain Slayer is defined as a “big mountain” bike, which is a lovely term, as it means the bike can handle everything from bike parks to freeriding to enduro rides to even light trail riding. While no bike is ever a master of all things, the Slayer accels at freeride and bike park style terrain. I also spent a great deal of time aboard the new Altitude as well, and breakdown some of the key differences.
