This week's sermon challenged us with a core question: Do you truly believe in the resurrection?

It's easy to lose sight of the future, but our Bible readings remind us that the hope of Christians is not in the healing of our bodies or the end of our suffering in this life.

Our hope is fully in Jesus, who will is the resurrection and is fulfilling the promise that God is making all things new, including all of us.

Even as we lament over the troubles of this broken world, let us share in Job's unshakable faith: "For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God."
