Pokémon Ancestral X is an advanced difficulty hack of Pokémon X created by Axyn. In a Soul Link, player's Pokémon encountered on the same route are connected. If one Pokémon dies, the connected Pokémon dies as well. Both player's teams must feature the same connected Pokémon at all times.

Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Pokémon I find on each Route.
3. Nickname Pokémon

Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
