Podcast Episode 2 - Richard Varvill

This is the second episode of my podcast exploring ideas, creativity, and innovation.

Richard Varvill was a young engineer working for Rolls-Royce in the 1980s when he became involved in the HOTOL project, a British effort to build a re-usable space shuttle. When the project was cancelled it led to him and some other engineers leaving to set up their own company to continue the work. I talk to Richard about his early career, HOTOL, and some more general principles relating to creativity and engineering.
