- The song is a jam performed by band members while waiting for Keef! (Brian was... unprevisible..), - - Earlier, Keef having left the studio after an issue about Ry Cooder's role as support guitarist! (in a "KEEF WAY" at the "Olimpic Studio"-London.
-...So, "BLOW THAT BLUES" OFF was recorded with Mick, Charlie, Bill + Ry Cooder, & Nicky Hopkins, with others few blues numbers called "Jammin With Edward"
- NOTE: The eponymous "Edward" was pianist NICKY HOP'KINS, in reference to "Edward the Mad Shirt Grinder".....NICKY star turn on Quicksilver Messenger Service's album Shady Grove.....
Nicky also contributed the cover art.
