Lots of Bacteria Protein Factories

Making lots of a human protein using biotechnology. First we constructed a DNA plasmid that encodes the human protein. We put that into E. coli (a non-pathogenic strain) and these are pellets that have billions and billions of cells that are mostly our human protein by weight.
