[TAS] Super Mario Bros. 3-Mix: Any% [Konami Code] in 3:10.15

This is a speedrun of Super Mario Bros. 3-Mix, a hack of Super Mario Bros. 3 by Captain Southbird. This run takes advantage of the Konami Code exploit built into the game. After inputting the code, Mario is given 50 lives and 50 of each inventory item, but more importantly, free movement on the overworld map and in stages by holding SELECT. I can use this exploit to instantly skip every single stage in the game by immediately warping to Star Road and bypassing the barriers to access World 0, the final world of the game. I can then skip to the final castle level. By holding SELECT in a stage, Mario is given instant full speed from both a standstill and while turning, the ability to very slowly float downward, invincibility, and the power to move in any of the eight directions at any time. I abuse these powers throughout the main portion of the stage. When I arrive at the boss rush area, I attempt to hit each of the eight bosses as early as possible, while showing off each of Mario's new abilities during wait times. Finally, the final boss is easily defeated. Time stops as soon as the final blow to Count Bleck is dealt.

Please note that no external cheating devices, such as Game Genie, were used. Everything done in the video can be done on a console (well, except for all the frame-perfect inputs and other things standard of TAS's)
