Traditional Japanese Kimono Experience in Hokkaido

One of the best experiences of my Japan trip was the traditional Japanese Kimono experience we did in Hokkaido. Getting to wear a beautiful red Kimono and stroll around beautiful temples and visit ancient tea houses in the snow in Wakkanai was extraordinary!

I highly recommend this Kimono dress up experience to anyone visiting Japan - it's fun to see how if feels to wear it, and also how the shoes traditionally are 2 sizes too small!!

The cost is about 5,000 Yen or $50 and includes the woman coming to put it ion and then taking you around town to take photos.
