Things you can use for DIY wipes if you don't already have wipes:
hand towels
wash cloths
old tee shirts
scrap fabric
scrap fleece doesn't need any sewing, it won't fray
old fleece baby blankets, same thing, they won't fray
ikea $1 towels
worn out baby clothing
old beach towels

Cut into 8 x 8 squares and whip stitch edges with needle and thread helps with fraying. Many families prefer making them 2-ply.
