FT-891 “Brings Da Boom!” | CW POTA at US-0548 During BAD Solar Conditions

Bad solar conditions didn’t stop this activation! I head to US-0548 Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge for a CW Parks on the Air activation using the Yaesu FT-891 and a homebrew EFHW antenna. With propagation struggling, I crank the FT-891 up to 90 watts and put my homemade 9:1 unun through a real-world torture test.
