GSF activist in Ben Gvir video reacts to global outrage

Global Sumud Flotilla activist Catriona Graham in Ben Gvir’s humiliation video says global condemnation is ‘welcome’ but exposes a ‘racist system’ that values European civilians over Palestinian ones, despite Palestinians facing far worse treatment in Israeli detention.

In a video released by Israel’s National Security minister Itamar Ben Gvir, Graham is pictured being shoved to the floor by multiple security personnel as the politician encourages violence against her. The video provoked unprecedented international condemnation of the detainees’ treatment by world leaders and ambassadors from nations closely allied with Israel.

Graham was among hundreds of activists detained by armed Israeli naval commandos earlier this month while trying to deliver aid to Gaza by boat.
