G'day, thanks for stopping by!

Following an overwhelming influx of negativity, vitriol, bullying, and generally childish remarks in every comments section in every video I've made, usually aimed at myself, but sometimes other viewers of my channel, unfortunately I have had to add some filters to some key words and phrases that keep appearing. These words and phrases send your comment straight to the holding pen for my approval, where 9 times out of 10 I remove the comment and block you from commenting. I'm a one person operation and if removing an an unnecessarily negative comment boosts my mental health, then I have no shame in doing so!

The lovely people at YouTube spare your feelings by making it so you're not aware that you've been blocked, and to your eyes, you'll still be able to interact, but your comment is essentially lost to the ether where no one can else can see it! (Not even me!)

I read every single comment and many negative ones aren't flagged by the filter, but I read them and block you manually.
Please keep in mind the following:

I love and appreciate constructive feedback, questions and interactions! I don't love and appreciate when it's put to me like a 13 year old in a 2009 Call of Duty chat, or like a spiteful person who has never been told "no"

No, I don't need that thing you said I need. I only need air, food, water and shelter. You're probably an adult, you should know what constitutes a "need"

Yes, that thing might make my job easier. If I cared about making it easier, I'd get said thing.

Yes, my business would boom if I got said thing... I usually respond to this one with "why is that important to me?" The response is usually "more productivity, more money"
My response to that is again "why is that important to me?"
If you're only goals in life revolve around your bank account, good for you! But I'm happy with what I have and what I do.

Finally, and most importantly, it takes effort to say negative things! Not doing that and just clicking the next link takes basically no effort!
I understand you might not like or agree with everything I do! I won't change what I do because you do it differently! Unless it's a really great suggestion, I'll likely ignore you or block you if you present your opinion to me like a drill instructor dressing down a recruit! Out of the thousands of comments I've read, there have been two that have prompted a change in how I do things.
