How 2's will be a new playlist on my channel where I offer quick tips on various topics. Here's an easy way to break in a ball diff after a fresh build or a rebuild. Cut one end off an old dogbone drive shaft and chuck it into a drill. While holding the diff gear, insert the chucked dogbone into one of the outdrives and spin the diff for about 15 to 20 seconds. I usually do it in both directions. This will help seat the diff rings and thrust washers prior to installation into your vehicle. So it will take less time to fully set your diff before running it.
