Today I am playing Stronghold: Definitive Edition by Firefly Studios.

This is a remake stays faithful to the original game released in 2001 with artwork, UI, audio and more remade from scratch; all whilst staying faithful to the original design from over 20 years ago.

I was a big fan of the original all those years ago and I always get the hankering to replay it - and now I can with a beautiful fresh coat of paint!

This isn't a modern Stronghold game, if you want improved graphics and gameplay etc, they still release new Stronghold games. However, if like me, you find the OG a boon of nostalgia, you should definitely check this out!
