The US Democratic presidential contender, Joe Biden, and his running mate Kamala Harris have used their first campaign event together to attack Donald Trump.

The California senator accused the President of leaving the country in tatters over his handling of the pandemic.

But Mr Trump said she was a terrible candidate who got her facts wrong.
