What are Series Circuits - Electricity - Science for kids
Science for Kids
Investigating electricity - Series Circuits with lightglobes.
Jacob and Sam set up a simple electrical series circuit using lightglobes.
As additional globes are added in series, the brightness of the globes decreases as the resistance of the circuit increases, causing the current to decrease.
If just one of the globes breaks, then all the globes go out as the circuit is broken.
This can be done easily at home using some wires, battery and a number of lightglobes.
