WARNING: Please be aware that a young bird (possibly a Wood Stork) was delivered to the nest and may be disturbing for some to watch...It is delivered at 2:39pm which you will see in the timestamp.
Mom delivers a fish at 1:55pm and then off to the pond for a drink. Mom then brings a baby bird to the nest at 2:39pm which is claimed by E8 who came charging in from the nest while E7 was chowing on the earlier fish. Mom and E7 perch side by side in the Attic. Dad comes late afternoon and the whole family is together… Fascinating dynamics when there is leftover food in the nest. Mom and E7 have a tug with the prey. Dad flies into the nest around 5:03 trying to get to the food that E7 is eating. Mom is also in the nest, E8 on the porch. E7 bites and holds onto Dad’s neck and he immediately departs. I think he was stunned. More good footage of Mom and both chicks.
