osu! — музыкальная ритм-игра, созданная в 2007 году Дином «peppy» Гербертом. Особенностью этой ритм-игры от других, является уникальная система игры а так же само строение игры, которое очень отличается от других себе подобных в этом жанре.

Одной из главных отличий osu! от других музыкальных игр (пр. Guitar Hero, Beatmania) являются игровые режимы, которых в игре всего четыре:

Геймплей режима osu!standart

Игровой процесс заключается в нажатии нот, появляющихся на экране, ведению слайдера, ведя ноту в сторону конца слайдера, а так же кручению спиннера максимально быстро. В зависимости от точности попадания по нотам в такт музыке, начисляются очки (50, 100, 300), а за не правильное выполнение действий (то есть, промах по ноте) у игрока отнимаются жизни, по истечению которых засчитывается автоматическое поражение. /

OSU mode gameplay!standard

Depending on the accuracy of hitting the notes in time with the music, points are awarded (50, 100, 300), and for not correctly performing actions (that is, a miss on a note), the player is taken away from life, after which an automatic defeat is counted.
