LOUIS HOFMANN - Tom Sawyer Has A Punishing Bad Day (Deutsch)

Instead of doing his chores, Tom Sawyer (Louis Hofmann) has been having fun with Huckleberry Finn, and on his return home, Aunt Polly (Heike Makatsch) makes her anger palpable by slapping Tom's face hard. Now at school, Amy Lawrence (Emilie Hedderich) passes Tom a note, which is spotted by the roaming teacher, the Reverend Sprague (Thomas Schmauser) - he uses the tip of his cane to inflict pain on Tom in the small of his back, to the boy's obvious distress, which is only relieved by the arrival of a group which includes new girl, Becky Thatcher. Becky (Magali Greif) joins the class and is quickly in trouble but Tom, already smitten by her, gallantly takes the blame and receives seven severe blows with the cane on his backside by an obviously angry Reverend Sprague.
At supper that evening, Tom quarrels with his cousin Sid (Andreas Warmbrunn), we see the resolution as Aunt Polly brings the boys under control by grabbing their ears.
