The M5 iPad Pro has been out for about five months now, and after daily driving both the 11-inch and 13-inch models, running my own battery drain tests, and pairing them with the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro… I finally have a clear answer to the question everyone is asking: was it actually worth it? 🤔

Apple’s M-series chips have completely changed what tablets are capable of, and the M5 iPad Pro is easily the most powerful tablet on the market today. With insane performance, a gorgeous OLED Pro XDR display, and battery life that outlasts every other iPad in Apple’s lineup, this device sits at the very top of the tablet food chain. 🔋⚡

But there’s a catch.

The iPad Pro is also absurdly expensive, especially if you’re planning to pair it with the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro. Depending on your storage configuration, a full setup can easily reach $1,800–$2,000 or more. That raises an important question — do most people actually need this much power in a tablet?

In this 5-month review, I break down everything you need to know about the M5 iPad Pro, including performance, display quality, battery life, accessories, and whether the 11-inch or 13-inch model makes more sense for your workflow.
