Steven Page with the VSO

To close out our 2020-21 season, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to welcome Canadian icon @Steven Page .

Just in time for our first public audiences, Steven, Craig Northey and Kevin Fox came to the Orpheum in June to record a lovely set of Canadiana with the VSO and Maestro Andrew Crust.

As well as some Barenaked Ladies and Steven Page originals, the set will cover songs by Leonard Cohen, the Tragically Hip’s Gord Downie, and John K. Samson of The Weakerthans. VSO Associate Conductor Andrew Crust leads the orchestra.

Dennis Thomas from the Tsleil-Wauthuth Nation gave a heartfelt welcome and prayer, recognizing this time of deep reflection for Canada. Enjoy!
