Sachin Pilot Interview: On Vasundhara Raje, Rahul Gandhi & Rajasthan

Sachin Pilot’s frank interview on how the Congress lost the plot in the 2014 elections with Shoma Chaudhury at Algebra, The Arts & Ideas Club, Gurugram on 25-February-2018.

Sachin Pilot says that one of the main reasons for the Congress losing in 2014 was because his party paid the price for the faults of its allies.

Addressing the issue of communal tension in India, Pilot says that instead of looking at the country in terms of Hindus vs Muslims, one should look at it from the perspective of rich vs poor.

On reservation, Pilot feels that it’s not about poverty alleviation but rather about justice and the only way to make reservation irrelevant is to have abundance of supply.

Sachin Pilot is the head of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and was a former member of Parliament from Ajmer constituency of Rajasthan. His father Rajesh Pilot was a union Minister of India.
