Bomb squad detonates ‘WWII relic’ in the Northern Territory
Sky News host Liz Storer says the bomb squad has detonated a WWII relic hidden below a carpark.
A construction crew narrowly avoided causing a fatality after pulling up a 50kg bomb with an excavator, which prompted a mass evacuation at the Darwin Waterfront.
“How do you like that? Under a carpark,” she said.
