Bars and Melody at Slimefest Deutschland! (1/12/18)

Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan—at Nickelodeon Deutschland Slimefest 2018, in Dortmund.

Bars and Melody perform Thousand Years at the first ever German Slimefest, before a game of rock-paper-scissors decides that it will be Leo who slimes Charlie.

Charlie says that being slimed by Nickeodeon feels like the German equivalent of being knighted by HM The Queen in the UK. 🤔

Bars and Melody are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, a rapping and singing duo who were Britain's Got Talent 2014 finalists.

After the show, Bars and Melody were signed by Simon Cowell. Their début, anti-bullying single Hopeful came out in July 2014.

Leo and Charlie have since released further singles, their début album 143 and their Teen Spirit EP, have toured extensively across the world; and have a huge fandom, not only in the UK, but also, especially, in Poland and in Japan, where they have made two albums with Avex, one of Japan’s largest record labels.

Bars and Melody’s latest album Generation Z came out September 2017. They are currently working on their next album Choke.
