HOW TO CREATE AUTO BORDER IN EXCEL

Apply Automatic Borders with Conditional Formatting
You can set borders to appear automatically when data is entered.

Steps:
Select the range where you want auto borders (e.g., A1:D100).

Go to the Home tab.

Click Conditional Formatting → New Rule.

Choose: “Use a formula to determine which cells to format.”

Enter this formula:

=NOT(ISBLANK(A1))
(Change A1 to the top-left cell of your selected range.)

Click Format… → Border tab.

Set your desired border style (e.g., outline border).

Click OK to apply.
