Examining the Stripped-Down RWD Trim Cybertruck

I finally found it! With the Cybertruck Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) trim officially cancelled by Tesla, I knew I had to track one down to see exactly what features were stripped away to hit that lower price point. Alongside the new Model 3 Standard, this RWD Cybertruck represents Tesla's attempt at an "entry-level" truck EV!

In this exclusive in-person look, I highlight all the key differences you won't find on the current AWD or Cyberbeast models:
- Exterior Giveaways: The unique 18-inch wheels and, most notably, the missing powered tonneau cover (replaced by a simple cloth cover).
- The Vault: No power outlets, L-Track, or automatic tonneau in the bed.
- Interior: Mostly soft cloth seats (which feel firmer than the dual motor!) and the complete absence of the rear entertainment screen in the second row.

I also confirm that the RWD version loses key functionality like Off-Road Mode settings and ride height adjustments (it has standard suspension).

Ultimately, I still believe the price was too high for the features that were removed—I stand by my original assessment that the sweet spot for this trim should have been closer to $50,000. It's a quick look at a rare, discontinued piece of Tesla history!
