Why I am not a Stoic (The Dark Side of Stoicism)

In 2013, I created a video/lecture outlining the strengths of stoicism. In this video, I outline some weaknesses and try to explain why I am not a Stoic. The tendency to devalue that which is intrinsically valuable (in order to cope), insulating against certain emotions like righteous anger, the failure to face death in a humane way, and the inability to face and alleviate the deeper forms of human suffering are among the criticisms.
