Thai Youth Boxing Team's Success at the 2025 Asian Youth Games

Thailand's young boxing talents, Thitiphan and Santi, shine at the 2025 Asian Youth Games, aiming for gold in the international boxing scene. Thitiphan, a youth and junior national champion, defeated Ali Asan 3-2 in the 50kg category, while Santi, a gold medalist in the 66kg category, dominated his opponent 5-0.
The Thai team is led by Pichai Choonhavan, former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, who aims to develop youth and junior boxing to achieve excellence at the Olympic level by 2028.
With over 4,300 athletes from 45 Asian countries competing in 26 sports, the Asian Youth Games is a significant event for Thailand's sporting ambitions, including their bid to host the 2030 Youth Olympic Games.
