As noted in the message of the German Union of Insurers (GDV), compensation was the highest in the last fifteen years, exceeding the previous year's figure by 40 million euros. At the same time, the insured events themselves were registered by 10 thousand less - about 290 thousand. The latter indicator has been declining recently due to improved weather protection of buildings.
