Craig Ferguson Returns (2007 WGA Strike)

Craig was never happier to be back on air than during the 2007 WGA strike. These are highlights from his first episode back. January 2, 2008

1. Sketch - Craig gets an Eagle Gram (Eff! An eagle!) and rushes back from Scotland after those eight long weeks. He spoofs strike beards, cop chases, and he's forced to leave his beloved Dolly the Sheep behind in Paris. ROFL!

2. Monologue - Craig is so clearly pumped to be on the air again! In a nod to Jack Paar, he starts with "As I was saying..." and announces there will be no guests, only WGA writers' comedy.

3. Desk Segment - Craig is surprised at some of the old episodes that ran in his absence. He shows a "retrospective" of himself. (As one who doesn't like tattoos, that goofy "Flashdance" bit always gets me. Natural Craig - *wistful tear*)

4. Emails - We hear that Craig tried learning to ski during the strike, complete with video. There is the requisite diss of Michael Naidus, this time over Alexander Solzhenitsyn. LOL!
