Ballooning in Lithuania is listed in top things to do.
This is a very popular pastime in this country.
Walking along the streets of Vilnius old town,
you can see colorful spheres with suspended gondolas soaring above the city.
Vilnius is one of the few European capitals, over which you can fly balloons.
One of the starting points is near the old town.

Flights also take place in other Lithuanian cities and resorts.
The aviation season starts in April and lasts until October.
Flights take place even in winter when weather is nice.
The flight time is usually around an hour,but...
the whole project with assembly and then dismantling of the balloon about 3-4 hours.
For the first time flying a balloon undergo "baptism" according to the old aviation traditions,
and got a first flight certificate.
The flight prices depend on the number of people in the balloon and amount to about 100-120 Euro per person.
