Make a Magnet Board - Multi Purpose Project Board

You can make a magnet board for a fraction of the cost to buy one and I will show you how. I made a large, poster sized magnet board for this video that is great for a home office, home school activities, workshop, garage, work space, game room and more. This is a great way to replace the old style bulletin boards (remember those old cork board type bulletin boards?)! It is a perfect use for the free neodymium magnets that I have shown how to collect in some of my previous video.

Make yours any size you need; small, medium or large. The materials I bought for this project can easily provide enough parts for making 2 or more additional, smaller magnet boards. Following my alternate suggestions you can easily design these boards for use on an easel, on a shelf, carried around for display and more. I came up with this design while trying to figure out a way that would help with the extra at home school work that was now going to be needed and it has worked out very well!

Materials used in this project:
* 24" x 36" Flat galvanized steel panel (sheet metal) - I found this at Lowes (Item #50186 Model #GVL0108)
* Hardboard Tempered Panel (Common: 1/8 in. 4 ft. x 8 ft.; Actual: 0.115 in. x 47.7 in. x 95.7 in.)
* 2x 1-Hole D-Rings Hanger. I got a Value Box (14-Pack) by OOK (Internet #202258035; Model #59981; Store SKU #924141)
* White, waterproof contact paper. I bought mine via Amazon (24 x 196 inches for Cabinets Countertops Kitchen Shelves Liner Glossy Glitter Self Adhesive Film Peel and Stick Waterproof Removable Wallpaper)
