The Adventure - Blink 182, 2006 Fantasy Album

"The Adventure" is an album I stitched together from the first two releases from Mark, Travis, and Tom after the break up of Blink 182 in 2005 (When Your Heart Stops Beating and We Don't Need to Whisper). It's supposed to help answer the question, "What if Blink had stuck together for one more album?".

In my head, I’ve concluded that tensions would have risen in the band if they hadn’t broken up. This would cause Tom to isolate himself during the writing/recording sessions, leaving Mark and Travis as the only members that collaborate on songs. This explains the dramatic shifts in sound between Mark and Tom’s songs, as well as the fact that there are no songs with both of them singing.
Eventually, the tensions would grow too high, and they would break up by the end of 2006; Leaving room for I-Empire, and the 2009 reunion leading to Neighborhoods.

In my opinion, I think it helps bridge the gap between Self-Titled and Neighborhoods much better.
