Finally I have decided to buy a new bike. All the components have arrived. Assembling of my new Liteville 301 mk10 can begin.
I`ll start by installing the bottom bracket, front derailleur, chain guide and chainset.
Generously grease the threads. Fitting the Syntace chain guide .
Lubing the axle prevents water of getting into the bottom bracket.
I replaced the original 24 teeth chainring with stambecco 20 teeth ring.
You need Shimano hollow tech II specific tool to tighten the screw on the left crank arm.
Next step is derailleur and Syntace rock guard installation.
After mounting tyres I have to install the disk rotors on both wheels and the cassette on the rear wheel.
See the separate video for fork installation by following the link.
I prepared the cable clamps for cable routing and start with shifter installation. Measure the cable lengths so that the handlebars can move freely. Insert the wire.
I have removed the displays from the shifters and replace them with the cover caps.
Next I'm going to install the brakes.
First I'll install the levers on the handlebar then continue with mounting adapter for the front brake caliper because the rotor size is 203 mm.
I need to install the caliper parallel with the rotor.
Next step is to secure the brake hose to the frame. Check that the hose for rear brake has sufficient space when rear wheel is moving towards the frame.
Now I need to check all the screws and tighten them to recommended values with the torque wrench. Values are written on the frame near each screw.
Lastly I made some fine adjustments of the brakes, gears and other personal settings.
