Ecuador's Dual Danger: From the Poisonous Jungle to the Streets of Crime @extremeletsgo

I’m in Ecuador. Here, entire cities are controlled by gangs, and the jungle is controlled by indigenous tribes. We’ll visit both places, but it’s still unclear which one is more dangerous. We went to the Amazon rainforest to see how the true native tribes live. The Guaraní chief offers me a taste of the sap from the poisonous tree from which curare poison is made, the main ingredient in the weapons of the tribes. This poison can only be tested by indigenous people who are already familiar to it. We’ll also travel to the most dangerous city in Latin America to uncover how Ecuador became the South American hub for drug trafficking.
