Gil Scott-Heron's daughter Gia, has been fighting for her father's estate since his untimely death in 2011. In "All Tied Up in Knots" she finally opens up about her ambivalence toward her supposed siblings. After years of litigation she is finally free to speak on her arduous, embittered battle with the other unproven offspring of the late, Grammy award-winning musician. As she stated, have all refused to undergo DNA testing stating various reasons.

Gia Scott-Heron is a spoken word and recording artist. She has been following in her Father's footsteps, leaving her 9 to 5 in late 2015 to pursue her passion for spoken word writing and performance full time. She has since released an album "The Difference", performed in various states across the country, is currently writing a book "Pieces of a Dad", and continues to seek justice from the Surrogate Courts in New York.
