What in tarnation is going on with AMC?! Why is it falling so much? Stock price is controlled by supply and demand, tons of supply (selling, or shorting) causes a fall in price.

So, is retail selling? No, paper hands were shaken out long ago. Are institutions selling? not really, Institutions are diamond hand masters, they cant report 66% losses to their investors, so would not be selling shortly after buying at $40-50-60 per share.

yes, maybe institutions are being forced to sell as their evergrande bonds just got wiped out. But this wont be much.

So, the AMC price is falling due to MORE shorting. If hedgies are shorting MORE, what does that mean they're not doing? if they're shorting more, it means they're not covering their existing shorts/any shorts. Therefore, they are digging a deeper hole!
