Crocheted Hems for Machine Knitted Hats

This movie is part of the 100 Recycled Hats series where I am trying to knit my charity hat goal all using recycled rewound yarn. I show you how to finish your hat with a crocheted hem that matches up nicely with the knitted fabric. The hats shown are simply knitted rectangles with gathered crowns and crocheted hems. Sizing info for all ages is included.

Each year I try to knit 100 hats to contribute to my favorite charity. As the year goes on, I will share other experiences, thoughts about recycling yarn and patterns.
