Waking Up At Amazing Free Camping Spot & Showing Campervan Kevin Deep Lake My Old Cliff Diving Spot

Oh how great it was to wake up this morning looking out onto the lake with mirror reflection of the sky. Certainly one of the best free camping spots I have enjoyed. It was great that shortly after waking up I got some very special visitors, I really adore the Woof Pack and of course Campervan Kevin is good company as well. Those 3 little pups have made me realize how much I miss my dog Dutch.

After waking up and munching on my breakfast burrito while looking out over the water Campervan Kevin and I rolled out of the primitive camping area headed for the Sun Lakes and Dry Falls. Now, I had a very specific lake in mind to show Kevin. Of all the Sun Lakes my favorite by far is Deep Lake, which was my old cliff diving spot. In my opinion Deep Lake is the most beautiful of the lakes. And it was pure joy driving in seeing all the autumn colors and how they matched the Lichen on the cliffs surrounding the area.

Once at Deep Lake I took Campervan Kevin over to see the first of my cliff diving points as the Woof Pack came along. Kevin didn't fee comfortable climbing up the cliff side with the little pups. So, I continued on to show you all the different spots and share some stories from my past.

Its funny I actually sort of forgot the entrance to go down to Deep Lake. The entrance into Sun Lakes had a hill that looked to steep to be the right spot, even though my initial thought was it was our turn. But, that's OK it gave us a reason to stop off at the Dry Falls visitor center. After having passed the main entrance into the park, I pulled into the Dry Falls visitor center to ask the park Rangers if the exit back was where I should have turned. Prior to doing this I looked out over the falls where the mighty Columbia River had been diverted across due to a huge glacial damn up North.

I hope you enjoyed this video and my explanation of it, I am super glad I have never seen Eric of Nomadic Fanatic share the locations in the this video the way I did. I think Campervan Kevin really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can give this royal treatment to my friends Russ of RVer TV and Robert of Traveling Robert. Who knows maybe Brian of Adventurevanman would get a kick out of it too. You really don't need to go abroad like Emon and Bec to find plenty of amazing places to enjoy. Even though, I plan to road trip the world.
